Welcome to 3rd Form!! This year we’ve got a lot of new challenges to face and 5 new subjects in which we are going to work a lot: they are Language, Science, History, Mathematics and Literature. But what’s more exciting is that we are seating for our first international exam!!!! So, we’ll let you know how we are getting along with all these new challenges!

2nd form Parents and Families:
During the diagnosis period we received some items. We enjoyed different activities: we played bingo with numbers from eleven to twenty.
We draw farm animals and sang, “ Old Mac Donald had a farm”. We listened stories from books, which students brought and sang songs with gestures like “the wheels on the bus” and “ Hockey Pokey”.

Hello Dear Families! Welcome back to the GHC BLOG. Through this blog, you will be able to know what we are doing at school. In 7th and 6th we began the year with a revision of some topics such as: present simple, present continuous, superlatives, etc. we also wrote some funny, scary or romantic stories and we read them in class.
In 7th, we prepared some assignments using the animals from the new vocabulary( Ferret, vulture, squid, etc) we are spending a great time together!!!

History and Science and 6th and 7th
6th Form:
Con los chicos de 6th form leimos una historia cortita sobre dos amigos. uno de ellos se mudaba al exterior, exactamente al otro lado del mundo. Afortunadamente, estos amigos podrán continuar su amistad por teléfono. Pero ellos tenían un problema: como eran chiquitos no entendían como era posible que mientras en un país era de día, en el otro era de noche. Entonces los alumnos de 6th intervinieron para brindarles ayuda a esos nenes. Como ellos estudiaban lo que pasa a nuestro alrededor incluyendo los movimientos de la tierra, escribieron una carta dirigida a esos nenes en donde explicaban como es que funciona este fenómeno del día y la noche
7th form:
Como bien se sabe, la parte de la historia Inglesa referida a los reyes y sus reinados, esta repleta de disputas tanto por el trono como por los territorios. Un claro ejemplo de estas luchas es reflejado en la guerra de las rosas donde dos familias: Lancaster y York, se disputaban el trono. Para poder entender esta complicada situación llena de batallas y misteriosas desapariciones, con los chicos de 7th jugamos a ser una corte en la que participaban abogados, un jurado y un juez.
